Design Your Own Box – Free Preview

Tell us what you want to make

3D BoxLab is still actively adding new box mechanisms and themes. If the exact design you want is not in the shop yet, send us the idea. The initial preview request is free and there is no obligation to buy.

Include as much of this as you can

  • The theme or style
  • What the box should hold
  • Approximate dimensions or the object dimensions
  • Name, date, initials or message
  • How you want the box to open
  • Drawers, tiers, compartments, trays or other moving features
  • Your printer/bed size if the overall size matters

What happens next

  1. Send the idea.
  2. We make preview images or a design proposal.
  3. If anything is unclear, we check it with you before finalising.
  4. You decide whether you want the file.
  5. A standard approved STL is £5.99, or an approved personalised STL/ZIP is £11.99.
  6. The final file is matched to the approved preview before fulfilment.

Need something based on an existing design?

You can also ask us to start from a current Treasure Chest, 3-Tier Reveal Box, proposal box or organiser concept and change the wording, size or theme where the mechanism allows it.
