3D-printable boxes built around the mechanism
3D BoxLab develops unusual digital box designs for home 3D printing. The aim is not just to put a decoration on a plain container: we build around moving lids, captive trays, cascading tiers, drawers and other mechanisms that make the box itself interesting to open and use.
What is available now
The live catalogue currently centres on two proven design families: Treasure Chests and 3-Tier Reveal Boxes. These include blank, labelled, personalised, mini and bundle versions.

What we are adding
3D BoxLab is still growing. Proposal and engagement boxes, organiser and utility boxes, seasonal designs, gadget storage, drawer formats and other mechanisms are being developed and checked before release. Draft concepts may appear on the site before the final downloadable CAD pack is ready.
Personalised and custom designs
Selected designs can carry a name, date, initials or short message. For completely new ideas, use the free preview-first design service: send the idea, review the preview, and only buy the final file if you want it.
Digital files, not finished plastic products
Unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, 3D BoxLab products are digital 3D-printing files. Printer setup, material, first-layer calibration and tolerances can affect how a print-in-place mechanism releases, so the notes on each product should be followed and a test print is recommended for moving designs.
